FILM
My parents recently gave me my Pops' old film camera, an Olympus Trip 35. This camera took me back to basics, with only one feature I could adjust - the focusing distance between myself and the subject. When using the Olympus, it made me think more about the lighting, composure etc before I actually took the shot. It certainly felt strange not being able to view the image I had just taken, delete it if it was bad and reshoot. I developed two films at the local camera store and whilst there were a few duds - mainly blurry, simply because I was too close - I am extremely happy with how the images and prints have turned out. Digital versions of my favourite prints are below - No editing has been done on these images.
