Onboard the Staten Island Ferry - what an amazing view of the lower Manhattan skyline.
Sailed right past Liberty Island for the perfect view of Lady Liberty herself.
So nice to sit back and relax on the ferry, took an hour return trip and even better - its FREE!
The ultimate dream - as soon as my flights were booked, the 'must see & do' list began
The 1st thing written down - a helicopter ride over Manhattan.
I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but it was the best money I had spent my whole trip.
It was amazing getting a different perspective of the concrete jungle - those skyscrapers WOW!
9/11 Memorial & One World Trade Centre
A very moving & emotional place to visit.
On the two days I visited I notice a lot of roses, I later learned the white rose signifies remembrance of 9/11 Victims' Birthday
The Oculus
This building is insane - its the central hub of World Trade Centres, a train station and Westfield shopping mall.
9/11 Museum 
-  A porcelain urn with all 2,977 victims names etched in it  -  A fully restored motorbike for a fallen fireman 
-  The last steel column to be removed from ground zero on May 30, 2002
